Kwaliteit
Cotton - Denim - Linen - Wool - Silk - Polyester - Modal - Viscose - Acetate

Cotton (vegetable  fibre – cotton plant)
Cotton is strong, breathable, soft and also highly washable. This fibre offers endless possibilities in terms of look and finishing.
Tip: Wash coloured cotton clothing with similar colours because the fibre is not always colourfast. Ironing whilst damp is easiest.

Denim (vegetable – cotton plant)
Denim or jeans is a cotton fabric which gets its typical look from a specific method of dying and washing. Denim is strong and adapts to the contours of the body, yet resumes its original shape after washing.
Tip: In order to avoid colours bleeding, you can first rinse your denim garment in a mixture of water and vinegar. After that, always wash with similar colours.

Linen (vegetable – flax)
Linen is a true summer fabric: it is breathable and has a characteristic look. This strong fabric made from the flax plant retains its shape well and is soil-resistant. You should never purchase garments made from 100% linen ‘toile’ too small because this weave is prone to tearing.
Tip: Limit the spin-dry cycle for your linen garments in order to avoid wrinkling. Never dry them in the dryer.

Wool (animal – the hair of sheep, goats, rabbits,…)
Wool is both breathable and warm at the same time. Wool can take various forms: fine trousers, thick jumpers, fuzzy scarves... and there are also many types of wool, often with a luxuriant look such as cashmere, mohair and angora. These fibres require extra care.
Friction may cause some types of wool to shed or pill. This can easily be removed by hand.
Tip: Extreme temperature changes will cause wool to shrink.  Always use a constant, low temperature for washing and rinsing. Wool garments are best dried flat.

Silk (animal – silk worm)
This exclusive fibre is extremely fine, drapes smoothly and can be dyed in beautiful, intense colours. Silk is very comfortable and pleasant to wear, but it is also delicate.
Tip: Neversoak or wring silk. Wrap silk garments in a bath towel and press the water out. Silk should be ironed at low temperature without steam and is best ironed while still damp.

Polyester (synthetic)
Polyester is a smooth and easily maintained synthetic fabric. It retains its shape and dries quickly.
Tip: If you hang your polyester garment to dry on a coat hanger, no ironing is needed.

Modal (vegetable, synthetic processing)
Modal is a semi-synthetic fibre that is soft to the touch and drapes smoothly. Garments made from modal retain their shape and colour.
Tip:  Limit the spin-dry cycle for modal garments in order to prevent wrinkling.

Viscose(vegetable, synthetic processing)
Viscose is a semi-synthetic fibre that is soft to the touch and feels cool in warm weather. Garments made from viscose are colourfast and gentle on the skin.
Tip: Wash viscose on a delicates programme with a gentle spin cycle. The wetter you hang your garment to dry, the fewer wrinkles.

Acetate (vegetable, synthetic processing)
Acetate is a semi-synthetic fibre that is often used as lining. It resembles silk, is very smooth and dries quickly.
